DQ197/40Y-TB multi-purpose hydraulic power tongs are open-end power tongs used for making and unmaking 2 7/8″～4″ drill pipes, 4″～4 1/2″″ tubings and 4 1/2″～7 3/4″ casings in oilfield drilling and well repair operations.

The complete set of power tongs is composed of a main tong and a hydraulic backup tong. The main and backup tongs can be clamped separately, and the action is coordinated and flexible. The tongs of the main tongs and backup tongs are equipped with inner curved roller climbing, and the two-way clamping mechanism clamps the pipe column, coupling or joint, with a simple structure and reliable operation.

The shell is made of low alloy manganese steel plate, which increases the overall rigidity of the power tongs. Jaw plates, tooth seats and gears of various specifications are made of alloy steel forgings and are heat treated to ensure that the power tongs have sufficient strength at maximum torque.

The whole machine is equipped with a hydraulic torque indicating instrument, and has a torque meter's revolution measurement interface and a torque meter installation interface for users to choose and use, making it easy to realize computer management.
