DQ9 ⁵ / ₈ 40Y-T micro-indentation power tongs are a new type of micro-damage power tongs used for rapid threading of casing in oilfield operations. They are suitable for pipes ranging from 4 1/2" to 9 5/8", and can be used in both onshore and offshore oilfields.

When clamping casing or couplings of different specifications, arc-shaped tooth plates of corresponding specifications are selected. The arc-shaped tooth plates are completely consistent with the clamped casing or coupling, thereby increasing the contact area of the casing or coupling, reducing the damage to the surface of the clamped pipe, and effectively protecting the surface and threads of the clamped casing.

The main tongs are connected with a rigid bracket and equipped with an extended front guide rod. The backup tongs can clamp both couplings or joints and the pipe body. The main and backup tongs can clamp stably and reliably. The maximum clamping distance can reach 600mm.

The whole machine is equipped with a hydraulic torque indicating instrument, and has a torque meter's revolution measurement interface and a torque meter installation interface for users to choose and use, making it easy to realize computer management.
